Tailgating, Homecoming, and Football!

Come join us this Saturday at 11:00 a.m. as you won’t want to miss this! There will be inflatable games, face painting, drawings for prizes, plus more.

On the Grill: Grilled Dragon Tail Tips* on a stick, side salads, fruit and veggies, dessert, and a beverage. Free will offering with all profits going to Dragon Fire. SPEAKING OF DRAGON FIRE, . . . have you joined yet? If you are coming to tailgating, please RSVP with a number to vickidawson@cableone.net so Steve and Vicki are sure to order enough tails.

*Dragons living along the equator in the mountains of Indonesia shed the tips of their tails twice each year on the eves of the March and September equinoxes. Local villagers go into the woods and hills gathering the discarded tail tips which are then packed and shipped throughout the world to various Dragon affiliated organizations. Once again this year MSUM Dragon Fire will receive an allotment of dragon tail tips for the homecoming celebration. These dragon tail tips have been certified as “safe” meaning that no dragons were harmed in the harvesting of the tail tips.

Tailgating Changes

Due to the potential rain, we are moving the pregame festivities indoors. We are gathering at O'GARA'S BAR & GRILL at 164 Snelling Avenue North in St. Paul. It is located four blocks to the west and two blocks to the south of the Concordia campus. The phone number is 651-644-3333.

O'Gara's is making arrangements for Dragon Fans, so leave your dessert or side dish at home (we'll need it next week for the home opener) and meet us at O'GARA's from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm on Saturday.

Tailgating in St. Paul, MN

There is an open invitation to join Dragon Tailgating this Saturday prior to the Dragon Football game at Concordia St. Paul.

Tailgating will begin at 11:30 am this Saturday, September 13th.

The Golden Bears have designated the far south end of the Central High School parking lot as the Dragon's spot. When you come to the game, if you enter on the Marshal Avenue side and enter the lot, you will find us. We will have the Dragon Flag flying high and the grill going.

We plan to grill and will be ready for a crowd. We will have Brats and condiments ready for everyone. Please RSVP to Steve and Vicki Dawson at vickidawson@cableone.net as to how many people you are bringing for tailgating.

We will be accepting a free-will offering for the brats and the money will go into the kitty for next week's home opener tailgating.

If you decide to attend, please bring a simple side dish to share--salad, dessert, etc.
